From Tuesday 4 June there will be a youth department at our chess club.

During the summer
months of June, July and August, children are welcome to become acquainted with chess.
Chess for youth is on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and takes place at our location
Aldenkamp sports complex, Boekenstein 1 Rotterdam (Zuidwijk).

During the summer months of June, July and August, the chess activities are free. After the
summer holidays, children can become members and will receive a trial period. If they then
decide to become members, youth membership is 80 euros per year.

The chess activities consist of giving lessons as needed and playing mutual games. The
chess activities are supervised by enthusiastic volunteers from the association. These
volunteers all have extensive chess experience and some volunteers also have teaching
experience, including in the field of chess.
